Short description

Hotel located in a unique location by the river Genil and the interior of the monastery with the same name, the Hotel Monastery of the Basilios was constructed over the old “Morabito” (Hermitage in a land unoccupied where Muslim hermits used to live) in the year 1616 by the family Bohórquez, marquises of Trujillo.
The Hotel is only 5 minutes away from the Congress Palace and 10 from the Historic Center of the city and of the Science Park, also is well communicated with the Alhambra through lines of urban buses with frequency of 10 minutes.
The rooms have TV, telephone, air conditioner / heating and hair drier in the bathroom. Clients also have free access to Internet with the service Wi-Fi. Also there is laundry service and a public parking 40 meters away from the hotel.
The restaurant is located in the old Refectory of the Hermitage and conserves the magnificent artistic ceiling. There you will be able to enjoy the excellent Mediterranean gastronomy at the same time you enjoy an architecture treasure that has persisted during centuries.
The entrance to the hotel opens to the old cloister of the building, which has been maintained in its original structure therefore the entrance is amazing.
This building also disposes of meeting halls and also there is the possibility of celebrating any event (communion, baptisms, weddings…) either in the Restaurant The Refectory or in the beautiful courtyard of the cloister.
