The Palacio De Los Navas is a 16 th century hotel located in the heart of the ancient part of
Granada. Owing to its excellent central location the most famous monuments of Granada
such as the Cathedral, The Royal Chapel, The Zoco, The Royal Chancellery and of course The
Alhambra are all within walking distance.
From our balconies you can view at close hand the famous city of Granada Easter Parades.
Furthermore, a "Tapas" tour could not be simpler as the most well-known Tapas
establishments are located in the same street as the hotel.
The Palace Hotel has been restored carefully and respectfully with due regard to the
architectonic elements of the period. Tuscan column in the central courtyard are
surrounded by nineteen comfortable rooms which are decorated with natural fabrics, soft
colors and fine

The Palacio De Los Navas has a most interesting history from its origins when it was
Commissioned to be built as his residence by Don Francisco De Navas in the 16th century.
This nobleman was also an active participant in the reconquest of Granada.
The location of this hotel has been a reference point throughout history and originally the
district was called "Axibin". It was the chosen site for Arab artisans during the Nasrid period,
dedicated to working in ceramic.
Later the district was a well-known residential area for the nobility and aristocracy. At that
time the Palacio De Los Navas was an architectural icon of its age, having a very similar
design to the facade of the Royal Chancery and also to the convents of the 16th century.
The main facade has three floors and two lateral towers with straight segmental arches
supported by brick rectangular columns.
On the central level there is a main balcony and two lateral wrought -iron grilles all
preserved perfectly.
